HSI has donated over SCR150,000 towards the establishment of the country’s first specialised facility for children with autism.
The donation went towards the design of a therapeutic “Sensory Room” and an outdoor play gym.
The Autism Centre was officially opened last Friday by the First Lady, Mrs. Linda Ramkalawan , and the Chairperson of Autism Seychelles, Mrs. Marie-Anette Ernesta.
During the ceremony, the General Manager of H Savy Insurance, Mr. Lambert Woodcock, together with other main sponsors, were presented with token of appreciation for their generous contribution towards the creation of the new centre, which is located at North-East Point.
