Get involved, Give Blood: Save a Life!
HSI supports local blood drive through a donation of face masks to the Blood Transfusion Centre at the Seychelles Hospital.
The face masks and other tokens of appreciation will be given to regular blood donors for their generous contributions towards national efforts to promote voluntary blood donation.
The donation was handed over by the HSI Corporate Affairs Manager, Mrs Marie-Paule Samson, to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Health Care Agency, Mrs Kathleen Cecile, in a small ceremony at the Seychelles Hospital.
Present at the ceremony were representatives of the Blood Transfusion Centre and the H Savy Insurance company.
The Blood Transfusion Centre at the Seychelles Hospital has a pool of about 200 regular blood donors and is encouraging more people to become blood donors and save others.
