HSI Supports Development of New Autism Learning Centre
The General Manager of HSI, Mr Lambert Woodcock and the chairperson of Autism Seychelles, Lyn Lavigne signed the sponsorship agreement for the project at Josef Schovanec's Public lecture on Autism, during Autism Awareness Month in April 2018. Under the agreement, HSI will assist Autism Seychelles with all the necessary equipment to set up a sensory room and an outdoor playground for the children at the centre.
The equipment for the sensory room has arrived in the country and the company is now in the process of finalizing the shipment for the play structures from South Africa to Seychelles. The New Autism Centre is expected to be operational towards the end of the year.
