Lambert is a professional chartered insurer, ACII UK with over 30 years of experience in the insurance business. He has earned the accolade of being one of the most experienced Seychellois practising insurance in Seychelles. Friendly, accessible and courteous are often used to describe his attitude towards clients however small or large. As well as being the GM of H Savy Insurance, Lambert lectures part time at The Guy Morel Institute (TGMI) on insurance subjects. He is an active Rotarian and has developed an extensive business network in Seychelles and beyond.
Lambert is presently the Chairman of the Seychelles Licensing Authority. A Board Member of the Seychelles Meteorological Services. He also serves as a Committee Member of The Insurers’ Association of Seychelles (IAS).
Murline has a professional background in journalism and media. She has previously held the portfolio of Corporate Affairs and been responsible for sales and marketing. In addition to this role, she has also served as Manager of Life Department. In 2015, she was promoted to Manager of Motor and Non-Motor retail. Over the years she has accumulated considerable underwriting experience and is well respected in the industry for her passion and engagement in growing sales in challenging circumstances.
Elisabeth is a seasoned insurance professional with over 25 years of expertise in underwriting and reinsurance. She is a critical member of the company with specialised knowledge of the reinsurance business. She is currently serving as the Manager of the Corporate & Reinsurance Department. Mrs Thelemaque she has the capacity to handle complex tasks and can function under demanding conditions.
Keven is currently the Manager of the Claims Department, a key service function, driving the company’s ambition in terms of service standards and brand value. His knowledge of the motor business, boundless energy, fairness and sublime negotiating skills have underpinned his success. The company firmly believes that the quality of claims handling determines largely the perception of the brand in the market.
Michelle has a strong commercial background with experience in marketing, sales, business development, project management and communications. She joined HSI in 2020 as the Manager for Life Department, and in 2024 she was transferred to the position of Business Development Manager, for both General Insurance and Life Insurance. She is mainly responsible for fostering business relationships with SMEs, corporates and other stakeholders to drive business growth, in line with HSI’s strategic plan.
Marie-Agnes’ career as a HR professional spans over more than 20 years across various sectors including ministries and parastatals before finally joining the H Savy Insurance in February 2020. Upon completing her studies in the UK, she became a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development a professional association for human resource management professionals based in the UK- she remains a Fellow Member of the Institute. As the HR Manager, Marie-Agnes’ fundamental role is to oversee the administrative function of the company, which includes employee development and overall play a key role in developing the organisation’s culture.
Neddy started his career in the Finance Sector in 2002 after completing a diploma in Business Studies and Accounting and an ACCA Intermediate Certificate, in Financial and Management Accounting. Neddy joined the HSI’s Finance department in July 2016, where he was immediately appointed as the Assistant Manager. During his career with the company, Neddy has shown strong engagement and great interpersonal skills on the job; his cool temperament and collaborative management style have contributed positively to the effectiveness of the company’s finance department.
Nellie is a very versatile operator, having worked in underwriting and claims during her long career. Even under intense pressure, Nellie is known to remain calm and attentive. She has mentored many past employees and is a strong team player. After holding the position of Assistant Manager, she is now discharging the responsibilities of Manager in the Middle-Office taking ownership of the critical function of renewals and customer support.
Marie-Luce has headed the company’s accounts department since inception. She has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and is well known for her integrity and strong work ethics. She is well respected within the company and the insurance industry.
Veronica currently heads the Corporate Business portfolio. She joined H. Savy Insurance in 1995 and has over 30 years of extensive insurance experience behind her. Veronica is of quiet but confident demeanour, which belies her profound knowledge in reinsurance matters and in claims adjustment settlement. Over her long career, she has mentored and groomed many younger colleagues to senior positions.
Christina is the longest serving staff of the HSI Life department with over 10 years of service. She is currently a key member of the Life team, holding the position of Senior Insurance Executive. Although of quiet demeanour, she is confident on the job and has developed a range of skills in Life insurance over the years.
Carolynn started her career in the Tourism industry before joining the Financial Services sector in 2015. Her colleagues describe her as very helpful and energetic. During her time with the Life Department, Carolynn has quickly adapted to her working environment and built strong bonds with colleagues. Her considerable experience in customer service and passion to succeed have made her quite a hit with customers.
Christine has over 10 years’ experience in the insurance sector. She is currently in the position of Senior Insurance Technician in the HSI Life Department. As a Life insurance representative one of her core duties is to assist customers in choosing the best products that suits their needs and provide them with peace of mind and financial security that comes with a Life Insurance.
Stephy joined the HSI family in 2022 as an Insurance Technician in the Corporate and Reinsurance Department before moving to the Life Department. During her time at the company Stephy has demonstrated her willingness to learn and grow in the industry. She is a highly motivated professional with a diverse background in tourism and hospitality. Currently, Stephy has found her niche in insurance and is thriving in her role. She enjoys the opportunity to communicate with clients on a daily basis and is eager to continue learning and expanding her knowledge in the field.
Judy is not new to the Insurance Industry, after serving 15 years as a Senior Accounts & Administrative Assistant at Corvina Management Services, one of HSI’s administrative service providers. With her experience in the Insurance field and the Human Resources function, Judy has made a seamless transition in her role as HSI’s new HR Assistant Manager. Judy is embracing her new career move with much enthusiasm and motivation.
Jutanne is currently one of the friendly faces at the company’s reception counter. Behind her permanently relaxed and welcoming face, is an experienced insurer, able in her own right to handle insurance queries from clients and if need be, directing them to other technical colleagues.
Graduating with an Advanced Certificate and Diploma in fashion design from the School of Visual Arts, Valentina joined the Corvina Investment Company in January 2016 as a receptionist. Being eager to learn something new in August 2017 she transferred to H. Savy insurance as a HR Assistant and Admin. With her new tasks she obtained a Certificate in Microsoft Excel with the Guy Morel Institute and a Certificate in Microsoft Word Processing with Seychelles Institute of distance & open learning.
Cindy has had a varied career, covering tourism and education before joining the insurance sector as an Insurance Technician in 2012. Over the past 9 years Cindy has been able to expand her skills in the insurance field. She is currently an Admin Assistant in the HR and Administration department and also serves as the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Officer.
Jostein is a graduate of the School of Business Studies & Accounting, finishing with an advanced certificate and diploma in hand. He joined HSI as an Accounts Supervisor, later promoted to the post of Senior Accounts Supervisor in 2017 and now, he is the Assistant Manager. Jostein is a serious and adept young man with the ambition to rise up the ranks as he acquires the skills and experience on. Jostein has completed an ACCA diploma in Accounting and Business and is in the process of completing the Advanced diploma.
Lydwine has over 10 years of experience in Business and Accounting. Before joining the HSI team in 2017, she worked as an Accounts Supervisor with the North Island Resort. During her time at H Savy Insurance, Lydwine has proven herself as a capable and reliable employee. She has the ability to learn very quickly and adapts her skills well.
Shelley started her career in Financial Services in the Banking sector after graduating from SALS in 2018, prior to joining HSI as an Accounts Supervisor in 2023. Since joining the financial sector, Shelley has developed her skills and competencies in different functions including Corporate Customer Service and Accounting where she also completed her AAT Certificate. In her new role at HSI, Shelley continues to display the same eagerness to learn and take on new challenges, to further her career in Accounting and Insurance.
After working mostly in tourism, Patricia applied for the position of Cashier with the company and secured the job in competition with many other applicants, thanks no doubt to her quiet but confident demeanour and aptitude with figures. During her time at the company, Patricia has grown in her role to become an Accounts Assistant.
Justine began her career in the Financial Sector about 10 years ago. Initially, she worked in the banking services before switching to insurance in 2018. As the main cashier, her role is to collect and process payments from customers who visit the HSI sales office at Maison La Rosiere. Being someone who possesses a friendly disposition, Justine always ensures that she attends to all her customers in an efficient and timely manner.
Amelie joined HSI in 2023 as a cashier in the Finance department. During her time with HSI, she has acquired numerous new skills and gained extensive knowledge about insurance. Amelie finds satisfaction in communicating with customers and delivering top-notch customer service. Her aspiration is to advance and excel within the world of insurance.
Natalie started her journey with the company after a 12-year career in the automobile sales and repair business. In 2017, four years after joining the Claims Department, Nathalie was promoted to the post of Assistant Manager Claims Administration. In July 2021, Nathalie took on a new role as the Assistant Manager for Claims Analyst, a critical role to discharge in view of the need to interface with clients and negotiate settlement of claims in a fair and efficient manner.
Before devoting her work to H Savy Insurance in February 2018 Janick served as an Assistant Restaurant Manager in the Hotel Industry. Her positive outlook on life, talkative character and enjoyment of new challenges enabled her to establish herself in the entity. She is very much goal driven and firmly believes that hard work is the real key to success. She joined the Claims Department as Assistant Manager Claims Administration in July 2021. Her principal role is managing relationships with claimants, communicating offers to them and raising their issues to the loss adjusting team.
Veronica joined the company in 2006. Over the past years Veronica has developed her skills and knowledge in Insurance and made considerable progress in her career. She is currently a Senior Insurance Executive in the Claims Department. Though seemingly serious in demeanour, she is a very pleasant and accessible person with excellent client interfacing skills.
Trevor joined the Claims Department in 2016 as an Insurance Technician. Though quiet and soft spoken in nature, Trevor has been a great addition to the vibrant Claims team. His colleagues describe him as a good listener and a great team player. In 2023 Trevor was promoted to the post of Principal in the processing section of the Claims Department. Trevor is a keen and fast learner and holds an International Certificate in Insurance and is currently in the process of completing a Diploma in Insurance.
After completing his studies at the Seychelles Tourism Academy, Shawn started his career in the tourism industry with Sri Lankan Air lines. He later moved on to pursue a career in the Financial Sector with Nouvobanq, before joining HSI in 2017. Shawn adapted to his role rather quickly and holds his post as Assistant Senior Claims Loss Adjuster in the Claims Department with pride.
Rachel joined the insurance sector in 2015 from a career in hospitality. As the claims coordinator, Rachel holds one of the key functions in the department. She is the first point of contact who has to ensure all customers are assisted and their claims processed in an efficient and timely manner. Rachel’s strong previous background in customer care has made her very competent in dealing with many distressed customers during their times of need.
Sinita started with the Company in June 2017. Before joining the team, she worked for the Family Tribunal, as a court reporter. Sinita attended Seychelles Business Studies Academy where she obtained a Diploma in Secretarial Studies. She is currently an Insurance Technician in the Claims Department.
After a long career in the energy sector, David decided to join Insurance services when he resigned from the Seychelles Petroleum Company (SEYPEC) as a Supervisor in the Distribution Centre in 2019. Before joining HSI in 2022, David took the opportunity to complete various courses including a Foundation in Insurance, Advanced Sales and Marketing and Customer Service Excellence. Developing new skills and knowledge has allowed David to seamlessly start his new career in Insurance as Loss Adjuster in the Claims Department.
Alina joined HSI in 2022 from a brief career in Education as a secondary English teacher. Despite the challenges of pursuing a career change, Alina has described her time at HSI as a fruitful experience with no regrets. Since joining the company, she has completed a Foundation in Insurance course and she hopes to pursue a certificate in Insurance. Alina is currently a Claims Loss Adjuster in the Claims Department.
Following her studies, Sallyann started her career in the Hotel Industry. With a passion in customer service and commitment to delivering quality results, Sallyann joined HSI in 2023 as an Admin & Underwriting Support Officer. She feels privileged to be part of such a highly reputed and successful insurance company. Sallyann considers herself a responsible, reliable, and hardworking individual, dedicated to learning new skills and performing to the best of her ability.
Chrissy started her career with the Seychelles Police Force in 2006 before joining H Savy Insurance in November 2013. Initially, she worked in the Renewal Section as Senior Marketing Executive and later advanced progressively through added responsibility as a compliance officer. With the setting up of the Corporate Affairs and Compliance Department she moved on from the Renewal function. With her background in law enforcement, Chrissy played a significant role in setting up the new compliance unit.
Shafira first joined the HSI team in 2016 as an Accounts Supervisor, after working as an Audit Junior. After spending over seven years in the Finance Department, she transitioned to the Corporate and Compliance Department (Marketing) in January 2024 to follow her passion for creativity, photography and graphic design. Recently, Shafira completed her CIM Level 3 – Professional Digital Marketing, further enhancing her skills in the field. An avid environmental enthusiast, she is a dynamic and multiskilled professional. Shafira is known for being friendly, helpful, and respectful towards her colleagues, making her a valuable asset to the HSI Team.
Having spent 4 years in a private marketing agency with first-hand experience in promoting H Savy Insurance, when the opportunity arose to join the company’s corporate affairs and marketing department, Mariana embraced it without hesitation. Seeking to enhance her skills in a renowned organization and tackle new challenges in her corporate career, HSI provides Mariana with the opportunity to utilize her creativity in graphics and her knowledge in the field to benefit the company’s objectives. Known for her readiness to help, Mariana approaches every task with a smile and unwavering dedication.
Sandra began her career with the company in 2010 as a trainee insurance technician. Over the past decade she has made remarkable progress in career. Sandra who holds a degree in Business Administration and a Certificate in Insurance, has been a key member of the Corporate and Reinsurance Department for several years. She is currently the Assistant Manager of the department assisting her senior colleagues cope with a major surge in corporate business.
Aysha switched to the Insurance Industry after starting her career in the Tourism sector, in 2014. In November 2016, Aysha started her new chapter with HSI, as an Insurance Technician in the Corporate and & Reinsurance Department. During her time at H Savy Insurance, Aysha has managed to complete the Certificate in Insurance (CII) course – helping her to progress further in her profession. She currently holds the position of Principal in the Corporate and & Reinsurance Department.
After graduating from SBSA with a diploma in Business Management and Administration, Amy commenced her employment journey as an Accounts Assistant at Corvina Management Services. In March 2023, Amy decided to change her career path and join HSI’s Sales/Underwriting team as an Insurance Technician in the Corporate and Reinsurance Department. Amy is dedicated to grow and develop through consistency and hard work.
Ornelli embarked on her professional journey as a national events coordinator before transitioning to the telecommunication industry. Prior to joining HSI in 2023, she served as a Customer Service Officer at Cable & Wireless Seychelles. Currently, Ornelli holds the position of Insurance Technician in the Corporate & Reinsurance department. Despite the difficulties of navigating a career change, she reflects positively on her time at HSI, describing it as a productive experience, and expresses a strong desire to continue learning and growing in the field.
Nathasia joined the company in 2006 at the level of Trainee Insurance Technician. Under the guidance of her departmental head, she has made remarkable progress in the business has today reached the level of Assistant manager in the Motor/Non Motor department. Nathasia is known for her passion and commitment to great service at the point of sales and after sales.
Wendy joined the company in 2011 after graduating from the School of Advance Level Studies and has served in various roles before finding her ideal position – my niche as she outs it – in the Motor Department. She is a confident operator, sharp at her terminal work station and excellent interfacing with clients. She is also highly ambitious and wants to progress far in the world of insurance.
Gretel is one of the familiar faces in HSI’s dynamic sales team, in the Motor/Non Motor Department. She joined the company in 2016 as an insurance technician and over the past 5 years, Gretel has diligently acquired the necessary skills to grow in her career. She is currently a Senior Insurance Executive. Like other sales representatives, one of her main duties is to ensure that every customer has a great experience with HSI.
Annie started her career in financial services in the banking sector before making a seamless transition to insurance in 2017. She currently occupies the post of Principal in the Motor/Non Motor Department. Annie describes her enjoyment working at H Savy as follows “Everyone makes me feel as part of the team, shares the same vision and are dedicated, which makes me feel good when the day is done!”
Isabelle started her career with the company in January 2015 as an Insurance Technician in the Policy Servicing Life Department before being transferred to the Non-Motor Department. She is young and by nature very energetic. Since joining the company, Isabelle has also undergone different trainings in the field of Money Laundering and Insurance.
Amanda joined H .Savy Insurance in March 2016 as an Insurance Technician. Hailing from JOUEL’s boutique and with her experience and knowledge in customer service, it did not take her long to settle in her new role. Soft spoken in nature, Amanda has integrated very well in her job and is well liked by her clients and colleagues alike. She displays a great deal of calmness when dealing with challenging situation.
Dylis is the newest member of the Motor/Non-Motor team. She started her journey with the company in the Life Business on 4th January 2017, after previously working for Barclays Bank Seychelles for 3 years. Being eager to learn something new, in October 2018, Dylis transferred to General Business Insurance to increase her knowledge on the Insurance Sector. She is currently a Senior Insurance Executive in the Motor/Non-Motor Department.
Karyn joined the Motor/Non-Motor Department in March 2016 having just completed her studies at the School of Business Studies and Accounting in December 2015. Although a bit timid and quiet in nature, Karyn has gained confidence in what she does and has progressed well in her career as an Senior Insurance Executive.
Mary started her journey in the world of work in the tourism Industry before shifting to retail and finally Insurance in 2017. Before moving to HSI, Mary was working as a Sales Executive with local jewelry company Jouel. Mary is currently an Insurance Technician in the Motor/Non Motor Department.
Adele started her career in secondary education as a History / Geography teacher before switching to Insurance in 2023. As a young and dynamic professional Adele, is enthusiastic about the opportunity to interact with customers and assist them in understanding the various products offered by HSI. With a willingness to learn, Adele believes she can expand and enhance her knowledge within the insurance industry.
Dira joined H Savy Insurance in August 2023 after completing her studies at the Seychelles Business Studies Academy. With 13 years of experience in accounts and administration, transitioning to the underwriting department at HSI presented new challenges, particularly in customer interactions. Being a flexible and resilient professional Dira has easily become customer-oriented which has helped her to develop a lasting relationship with her customers. Dira is excited to be part of a team that consistently strives for excellence.
Chabella joined the insurance industry in early 2021 from a short career in the hospitality sector. Initially, she started off on a part time basis, before being employed by HSI in October of the same year. During her journey with the company Chabella has demonstrated her willingness to learn and grow in the business. From a part-time receptionist, Chabella is currently an Insurance Technician in the Motor / Non Motor Department.
Maria is of quiet disposition but behind this innocuous facade, lies an efficient employee, as focused on service delivery as any of her other colleagues. Over the past 17 years she has proven her worth within the organisation and is now attached to the Renewal Section.
Jeanette joined the company in 2015 from a career in the Tourism Industry. As a keen and fast learner, she has been able to develop and advance her skills and competencies in insurance. Jeanette is described by her peers and supervisor as having a very friendly and pleasant personality.
Maxima started her career in front office administration. When the opportunity to work in insurance emerged, she was quick to take up the challenge and from all accounts, she is a fast learner. Maxima has been with HSI for the past 17 years, and she has expanded her knowledge in various insurance functions from Claims to Motor Underwriting. She is presently working in the Renewal section.
Fatima is a determined young lady who gained her educational qualifications through the Adult Learning Distance Educational Center (ALDEC). After a career in airlines and retail sales, she joined the company as a receptionist. Fatima has also worked in the Middle-Office, Motor Department and now holds the post of Insurance Executive in the Renewal department.
Jean-Paul has spent over 7 years in the IT department of the company. He is a young, vibrant and energetic member of the team with a wealth of knowledge. During his time at the HSI, Jean-Paul has played a key role in setting up several new company’s IT infrastructures. He is a great asset to our company.
Isabelle is the newest member of the HSI team on Praslin. She joined the company with over 10 years of experience in the Insurance business. Prior to joining the Insurance Sector, Isabelle spend most of her career in the hotel industry. Together with the other HSI staff on the island, Isabelle is contributing towards improving the company’s service delivery quality on the outer islands.
Margaret is one of the two company representatives on Praslin Island. She has a very engaging personality, oozing energy and friendliness. She has previously worked in the hospitality industry before moving into local government administration. Her conversion to the world of insurance happened in 2011 when she joined the company. Since then, she has proved very adept at winning the trust and building close ties with the Praslinois clients. To enhance her skills, she has pursued a customer service course and successfully passed the Foundation course in insurance.
