On the Road to Financial Education enrichment
HSI came together with various financial institutions in a series of Financial Fairs being organised over the islands. The activity is aimed at educating people on financial products and services, so they can make informed decisions. The first two fairs took place on Mahe and Praslin towards the end of 2018. It regrouped representatives from both banking and non- banking sector such as banks, moneychangers and insurance companies. The fair allowed HSI to not only educate the public about the different products and services it has on offer but to also interact with them on any concerns or queries that they may have on insurance in general. The Financial Education Fair is being organised by the Central Bank of Seychelles in collaboration with the Financial Services Authority.
